Dakota Fence Company is seeking a full-time Job Process Specialist for its Fargo, North Dakota office.


Job Process Specialist


The Job Process Specialist is responsible for the administrative aspect of job processing across all operational entities. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work closely with the estimation team and coordinators to make sure that all aspects of the job are accounted for properly.


The principal job duties of this position are to: 

  • Job creation in Vista system
  • Invoicing – for construction jobs and retail sales
  • Job costing
  • Receivables Management
  • Utility Locates
  • Purchase order creation
  • Execution and management of daily rentals 
  • Manage paper job folders and contracts
  • Various reporting tasks, including job receivables, order activity and more
  • Special projects as needed to support the retail sales function
  • Other tasks as defined by the CFO


Experience and Skills Required:

  1. Strong knowledge of accounting and job costing practices and processes.
  2. Organizational abilities to track multiple deadlines and reporting requirements.
  3. Ability to suggest and implement process improvements. 
  4. Self-motivation and desire to continually improve. 
  5. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and have good public relations skills.
  1. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
